Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Ball was born November 24, 1981. She is an American political commentator. She was previously a political candidate, and also hosting a TV show on MSNBC and a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post and former co-host of the show The Hill's Rising alongside Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear in May 2021 that they'd be leaving the show to launch their own show, Breaking Points with Krystal and Saagar. Ball is co-hosting along with Kyle Kulinski on the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends. She has appeared on guest appearances on shows like Real Time with Bill Maher, Fox News (CNBC), Fox News (Fox News) as well as CNN (CNBC). Ball is currently married to Jonathan Dariyanani, as of 2020. Ball says that her renewed political interest due to her experience as a mom in the 2008 primary elections. In addition, she observed the US presidential election in 2008 while working in Jordan. She saw how it affected the citizens of Jordan and thereby gained an appreciation for the global implications of US politics. She was a Senior Fellow with the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party candidate for Congress in Virginia's 1st district. She lost to Rob Wittman in 2010. From June 2012 to July 2015, she hosted of The Cycle on MSNBC. She founded the People's House Project, an organization that promotes Democratic causes in May 2017.
